Gaia's Circle

£0.00

A therapist-led Recovery Circle exclusively for women navigating binge eating disorder (BED), stigma, and self-worth.

Contrary to public perception, only 6% of eating disorder sufferers are medically underweight. The majority live in larger bodies, often overlooked, misdiagnosed, or dismissed entirely by medical professionals. Despite being the most common eating disorder, Binge Eating Disorder remains one of the least understood—leading to shame, isolation, and a lack of access to the care and compassion every woman deserves. But you are not invisible. You are not broken. You deserve care that sees you fully, without stigma, and without conditions. This is a space where we challenge stereotypes, dismantle internalised shame, and reclaim self-trust in food, body, and identity.

What You’ll Find Here

What to expect in Gaia’s Circle

Why Gaia’s Circle?

  • Unpacking and letting go of guilt, stigma and self-blame.

  • Developing a compassionate relationship with food and nourishment.

  • Learning new ways to respond to stress, loneliness, and emotional pain.

  • Reframing self-worth beyond weight, size or appearance.

  • Replacing critical self-talk with kindness and understanding.

  • + only 6% of eating disorder sufferers are underweight—yet media and medical narratives often ignore BED
+ 90% of non-underweight sufferers are high-functioning professionals, with 30% earning twice the average income.
+ the myth — that eating disorders only affect thin, young, white women.
+ the truth — BED affects women of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds.

  • + women in larger bodies are more likely to be dismissed by healthcare providers, leading to delayed diagnosis, misattributed symptoms, and lack of access to treatment.
+ weight stigma increases the likelihood of binge eating, emotional distress, and avoidance of care, perpetuating cycles of shame and self-blame.

Here, we reject weight stigma and embrace weight-inclusive healing.

  • + binge Eating Disorder is not about a lack of self-control—it is a complex condition rooted in emotional regulation, trauma, and neurobiological factors
+ BED is often experienced as an “addiction”, rather than a disorder to be cared for and healed, leading to cycles of guilt, restriction, and secrecy.
+ recovery is possible, but not through diets, shame, or force—but through self-compassion, connection, and real support.

The last three months since joining you guys have been transformative. I’ve started looking at things from a different perspective. It feels like I’ve been given the tools to push myself again, even though it’s terrifying sometimes, but I’m also kind of ready. I was feeling stuck before—it felt like, oh, well, you know, I’ve talked through everything with my therapist. What else is there? I’d just put up with things. But now, it’s different. I can see and feel a massive difference. I feel like I want to dig deeper, understand more, and move on.
